Four good reasons...

James Christie, Operations Director, Protherics

Protherics is a leading Biopharmaceutical company focused on critical care and cancer. Our goal is to bring products to market, which deliver better outcomes for patients and better returns to shareholders. We required a strategic risk management control programme that allowed all aspects of the business to be risk aware, allowed these risks to be quantified and provided visualisation of how the risk is being managed and used by the Board of Directors to continually monitor progress. Cambridge BioRisk mentored Protherics throughout this process and provided invaluable consultancy, templates and support.

Cambridge BioRisk’s key strength is the ability to provide a clear yet thorough evaluation despite the complex nature of the business. Their wealth of experience shows through in their ability to identify the needs of each different company. They listened to and recognised what we needed and provided this service within the programme timelines. On a personal note I found Cambridge BioRisk easy to work with, very straightforward and motivated as part of the team to deliver the risk management programme.

Nick Higgins, Chief Executive Officer, Intercytex

Intercytex is a cell therapy company focused on the repair and regeneration of skin and hair. We were looking for a company that would provide us with a detailed risk analysis of the business and assist us in ensuring compliance with current best practice guidelines. We approached Cambridge BioRisk as, having worked with her in the past, we found Lindy’s methods to be both sensible and pragmatic as a result of her substantial experience in this field. Risk analyses can have a tendency to be overly complex, however Lindy identifies the risks of greatest importance and those that can be addressed and prevented. Her ability to highlight these areas comes from her wealth of experience. We were very pleased with the outcome of working with Cambridge BioRisk and above all we found Lindy a pleasure to work with.

Sarah J Gowing, Director Secretariat, Acambis plc

Acambis is a biotechnology company specialising in research and innovation to create novel vaccines for infectious diseases. Before founding Cambridge BioRisk, Lindy used to work with Acambis so we knew that she would be well-suited to provide our health and safety, risk management and facilities management consultancy. Lindy has great experience and in-depth knowledge of our business, which made her ideal to undertake this work for us. As well as being very well qualified, Lindy is reliable and always shows great attention to detail. We would highly recommend Cambridge BioRisk and are glad that Lindy is a friend of the team as well as a colleague.

Kirk P Andriano
Vice President of R&D, Inion Ltd

At the Cambridge European Technology Centre (ETC) Inion is focused on the discovery and development of compounds for osteogenesis, bone repair and regeneration. The ETC outsources a lot of services and Cambridge BioRisk manages the health and safety for our laboratories and offices. Lindy was involved in evaluating potential biohazards, fire risks and other health and safety issues and advised on what should be done to help minimise these risks and ready the premises for inspection.

We chose Cambridge BioRisk after a recommendation and were impressed with Lindy’s background and experience as well as her professional but personable nature. Her social skills have ensured great communication with all of our team; managers, scientists and sales representatives alike, meaning the work she has produced for us is comprehensive and highly useful. Lindy has really crossed the barrier from being an external agency and is considered a very welcome part of the team.
